Our undergraduate degrees in various fields of studies, graduate programs and courses, and many degree paths through University Park, prepare students for today's highly competitive and dynamic business world.
We take pride in delivering courses and programs developed with input from civic leaders and business executives representing both large and small business enterprises in our service area.
As a result, we are uniquely positioned to provide educational solutions that are closely aligned with the local and regional workforce and economic development needs.
Penn State Scranton serves traditional and non-traditional students of all ages and backgrounds who, despite their diversity, have deep roots in Lackawanna County and Northeastern Pennsylvania. Some are admitted to Penn State Scranton directly from high school, take classes on a full-time basis, and are active in student clubs and organizations. Others are working adults with family responsibilities who take classes part-time while juggling a full schedule.
They choose our campus because we are close to their family, friends, homes, and workplaces. They like the personal attention, welcoming environment, the fact that Penn State Scranton offers day, evening and online classes, and that our faculty and staff know them by name. The student housing, a private development, is located across the street from the campus providing quality living accommodations and convenience.
